Nurse practitioners play important role in influencing change in the profession and in public health. Nurse practitioners (NPs) can have a tremendous and vital influence in mitigating social impacts of marginalized women by becoming the maker of health policies. As a profession that deals directly with marginalized women, nurse practitioners can impact social impacts by working in the government and create health policy that favors the marginalized women.
