Euphoria: HBO series created by Sam Levinson

Euphoria is a drama series that centers around Rue Bennett, a teen recovering from drug addiction, following her and her high school friends through chaotic experiences with sex, drugs, relationships, and identity. To me, Film is an art that has the ability to draw from all different art forms and Euphoria is the perfect example of this. Euphoria brilliantly uses Mise en scène (the staging events for the camera) a technique incorporating all elements into a single shot; this includes, but is not limited to, the actors, the setting, props, costumes, makeup, music, and lighting (“mise”, 2022).

There is more of a reliance intentionally behind everything they are doing utilizing all of these mediums to evoke a response visually and audibly. A director turns a film set into an art set to create more substance to the narrative.  He places characters in certain positions, inserts sounds, music, and lighting to achieve different effects and convey different emotions.…..please click the purchase button below to access the entire solution at $5
