The marriage and love customs in the world have changed drastically recently. The customs and norms differ significantly in different cultures based on the factors such as globalization, changing social-cultural factors, religious attitudes, education levels, social factors, and other demographic factors. The radical changes have led to significant changes in the rate and attitudes towards marriage. Some changes in developed countries include decreased marriage and cohabiting and divorce rates. This paper seeks to determine the different aspects of marriage in the US and Australia (Tata, 2019). The paper determines various issues, including the average age of marriage, ways of initiating romantic relationships, standard practices, and cultural values in the two countries.
