  1. Interpretation of results

From the pre-survey and post survey results, it is evident that the presentation increased overall knowledge on the SBIRT process. Their knowledge about tobacco smoking among the youth was increased, and they were able to understand the contributing factors as well as its impacts on public health. The nurses were aware of some of the ways to reduce tobacco use among the youth, but were not aware of the SBIRT process. The presentation increased their general knowledge of the intervention. The nurses show that they could comfortably implement the SBIRT process after the training session, which was not possible before the training.

5. Overall experience with the project 

Teaching about the SBIRT process and the problem of smoking among the youth to the nurses was a wonderful experience. Sharing information to develop the skills of others feels good.
